Volunteers Make a Difference
The Mt. Diablo Unified School District is proud of its strong tradition of community engagement and volunteerism. We are incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and talents that our volunteers bring to our schools. Your support directly enriches the educational experience for our students and strengthens the bonds within our school communities.
Students are our number one asset, and your involvement whether in the classroom, on field trips, at events, or behind the scenes helps ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive. Thank you for choosing to be part of this important work.
Before beginning service, all volunteers must complete MDUSD’s clearance process. As part of this process, principals will first review and approve volunteer applications. After site approval, the district’s Human Resources team will complete the final clearance steps, which include background checks, TB verification, and other state and district requirements.
To learn more about volunteering, including details about the clearance process and volunteer categories, please review the MDUSD Volunteer Handbook and FAQ documents linked below.
We look forward to working together in support of an outstanding school year. Thank you for your partnership.
